Oliver

Oliver wanted to tell Therese he wants to take walks using his harness by showing himself to me wearing it. Then I have a sense of choking and pulling on the leash wearing a collar. The harness feels better than a collar when he pulls on the leash. Theresa confirms he does pull on the leash and they had misplaced the harness. He’s trying to go quickly to the dog park, where I see him running freely and happily with other dogs. He shows me the walk in three sections and at the end is the dog park. I asked him if he could walk cooperatively by sending him an image of them doing so with him walking beside her. He had two objectives. He wanted to sniff and mark at will on his own block to send and receive messages from the neighborhood dogs and he wanted to get to the dog park quickly, so he could run. Like he had the idea if they went there really fast, they would have time there for running. His person validates the walk does end at the dog park. She also said they hadn’t been getting there as often of late. He was asking to walk more and to get to run more. I asked him if there was anything else he wanted her to know. Oliver sent me a picture of a man who came over infrequently. He liked it when he came and he wants him to come over more. He lays on his back and gets his belly rubbed by him. The man comes only to the door and entryway, he doesn’t come into the house. Then Oliver sends me a picture of the man and he is college aged and wears tennis shoes. Theresa was trying to think who it could be. Oliver then sends me a picture of a white dog with curly hair on a leash who comes with him or is with him. Theresa starts laughing as she realizes that Oliver is describing his Dog Walker and his dog playmate he takes walks with, Duncan- a white, curly haired Labradoodle!
