Millie’s person called me to consult. She wanted to know if Millie was alright. When I connected with Millie she sent me a picture of herself standing on her two back feet with her front paws hanging down like a person. My first thought was, “that can’t be a real message, can you give me something else”? Then Millie sends me another image of herself standing like a person, this time with her front paws reaching upward. So I had to share it, because that’s my rule with myself- to share the messages I receive, even if I don’t understand what they mean. So I said, “she is showing herself to me standing up on her two hind feet”. Her person laughed excitedly, “that’s how she stands”! “It’s her signature move”. I asked Millie if she had any questions for her person. She showed me a cat door and gave me the sense she was used to going in and out the cat door. But now the cat door is closed, she wants to know why she can’t go out the cat door anymore. Her person said they had just moved and she used to be an indoor/outdoor cat and she had a cat door. Her new neighborhood doesn’t allow cats to roam freely day or night, so she is going to have a screened-in Catio. I explained the new rule to Millie and asked her if there was anything she needed or wanted to help her adjust to this lifestyle change. I received the taste and texture of eating grass, in my mouth and get the idea Millie wants to eat grass. Her person will provide that. The reason for their call was to check in about her new home and not being allowed out anymore.
