I consulted with Maya’s people. Maya was a grey and white pit bull mix. I connected to Maya by my process of receiving then expanding universal love and light from my heart to Maya’s and she sent me back a friendly, relaxed feeling- she was an easygoing dog and her people confirmed this. I asked her what she likes. She sent me back a sensation of smelling chicken cooking. The scent wafted distinctly into only my left nostril. It felt like a little Nike swoosh of scent swooshing up to my nose. Then I tasted the taste of chicken in my mouth. It all came to,“I smell chicken, and I like chicken”- Her people laughed saying that sounded like something she’d say. They shared they had a chicken cooking in a crockpot at that moment at home. And the dog’s area puts her to the side of the house where she would smell the scent from the left. I later researched this and learned that dogs can smell from a specific direction. Maya showed me she liked to lay on her back on the bed and that both her people would rub her belly and dote on her. And the bedding was white. And she showed me the bathroom and I know she likes something in there. It looks like a rectangle on the floor and I get a sensation of sponginess- a rug of course! This is an interesting thing that comes up sometimes, the dog or other pet shares household items with me through their perceptions. I see a spongy rectangle- that’s comfortable to lay on. I have to revert back to my own perspective to know it’s a rug! I often jokingly say I play charades with animals, but it’s a actually rather apt analogy. Her people confirm she only lays on rugs or the bed and they have rugs in every room for her. Maya had a request for her harness as her preferred walking gear. And not much more. She was low key and a good fit with her people.
